The Ultimate Gift: Bhagavad Gita

The best gift is the gift of knowledge, and among all forms of knowledge, the Knowledge of the Bhagavad Gita is the best. The Bhagavad Gita imparts Brahma Vidya—the knowledge of the self. While subjects like physics, chemistry, and mathematics provide insights into the external world, the Gita reveals the truth about the self—the eternal conscious entity that we are.

We are not merely material bodies but are pure consciousness: Sat-Chit-Ananda (eternity, consciousness, and bliss) and source of everyone Lord Sri Krishna.

Attaining this state of self-realization leaves nothing else to be known, as Lord Krishna beautifully explains in the Bhagavad Gita:

Bhagavad Gita 6.22

“Yaṁ labdhvā cāparaṁ lābhaṁ manyate nādhikaṁ tataḥ,  Yasmin sthito na duḥkhena guruṇāpi vicālyate.”

Translation:  “Having gained this (state of self-realization), one does not consider anything else to be of greater value. Being situated in this state, one is not shaken even by the heaviest sorrow.”

Attaining Bliss Through Devotion

Supreme Lord Krishna guides us on how to achieve this eternal blissful state—through loving devotion (bhakti) and service to Him. He encourages us not only to follow this path ourselves but also to share this wisdom with others, as spreading spiritual knowledge brings immense blessings.

In Bhagavad Gita 18.68-69, Krishna declares:

“For one who explains this supreme secret to the devotees, pure devotional service is guaranteed, and at the end, they will come back to Me. There is no one in this world more dear to Me than they, nor will there ever be one more dear.”

Supreme Lord Shri Krishna emphasizes that those who distribute this transcendental knowledge are His dearest. Sharing the Gita’s teachings helps uplift humanity, bringing happiness and fulfillment to all, as we are all part and parcel of the Supreme Lord.

If you wish to contribute to this noble mission, consider buying 11 Bhagavad Gitas and distributing them to students or to those who cannot afford them. If purchasing and distributing the books is challenging for you, you can also donate the money to me, and I will ensure the Gitas are distributed to schools or those in need. Together, we can bring the light of wisdom into many lives and inspire the next generation with the eternal teachings of the Gita.
